Come tour the area and enjoy amazing wine, stunning views, historic attractions, and quality restaurants along the Shenandoah Valley Wine Trail.
  • Valerie Hill Vineyard & Winery - Located just south of Winchester (10 minutes away) near Stephens City, Virginia, their 18-acre farm is steeped in history. The Tasting House, a Federal style brick manor house, is the focal point of the vineyard and dates back to 1807.
  • Barren Ridge Vineyard - Located on the family’s former apple orchard, Barren Ridge Vineyards is now home to Augusta County’s premier winery. The tasting room features wonderful wines that are available daily for complimentary tours and tastings.
  • Blue Ridge Vineyard - Blue Ridge Vineyard offers estate grown, estate bottled wines from the Shenandoah Valley. It is a family vineyard located at the head of the Shenandoah Valley with unique varietals producing wine from old-growth vines. The planting of Riesling, Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer marked the beginning in 1985. At 1200 feel above sea level, the western facing slope of the former hay field proved to be the perfect place for the first Vinifera plantings in southwest Virginia.
  • Bluestone Vineyard - Located in the western Shenandoah Valley, Bluestone Vineyard offers impressive views of the mountains and surrounding farm land. Enjoy the view of the hillside vineyard as you taste locally produced award-winning wines in their winery.
  • Cave Ridge Vineyard - Cave Ridge is a family-owned and operated vineyard and winery located in the foothills overlooking the Shenandoah Valley. They produce wines that emphasize the fruit character of the grape using a minimalist approach to our winemaking. Cave Ridge adheres to sustainable farming practices in order to promote a healthy ecosystem for future generations.
  • Cedar Creek WineryCedar Creek Winery, another small family winery and vineyard located in northern Shenandoah Valley on the banks of historic Cedar Creek.  Cedar Creek has been growing Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay grapes since 1999 and producing award-winning wines beginning in 2008.  They produce limited quantities of these two premium wines. Cedar Creek is open by appointment only.
  • CrossKeys VineyardsOpen since 2008, we offer a selection of 11 wines in the Tasting Room along with a menu of delicious food items to pair with your glass of wine on the patio. Our spacious rooms and terraces with panoramic views of the valley and surrounding mountains provide the perfect setting for a gathering of friends and family. Enjoy a glass of wine or experience our vineyard lunch package.
  • Lexington Valley Vineyard - A new family owned and operated Virginia Farm Winery producing handcrafted wines from French-American hybrid varietals.
  • North Mountain VineyardsTheir distinctive winery building was modeled after a European style farmhouse. The below-ground cellar produces some 3000 cases of premium wine per year. In the European tradition, North Mountain Vineyards celebrates wine, food, guests, and special events throughout the year. Follow romantic and historic country roads and discover an enchanting winery nestled in a beautiful vineyard.
  • Ox-Eye VineyardsThe Kiers family built their own winery and produce 100% Estate wines, including Chardonnay, Riesling, Gerwurztraminer, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, and Lemberger. Come visit Ox-Eye's tasting room, located in a restored building in the Wharf district of historic downtown Staunton!
  • Rockbridge VineyardShepherd Rouse, after several years of education and experience in the wine industry, purchased a farm in the Shenandoah Valley, at a higher elevation than most Virginia vineyards and began planting grapes. From this palette, Rouse is able to produce a full spectrum of wines to match a broad range of individual tastes.
  • Shenandoah Vineyards - The wine made from grapes grown in the valley has a pronounced fruit character, with emphasis from climate and soil. Warm days and cool nights promote ripening while maintaining fruit flavor and bouquet and valley breezes help dry and encourage healthy foliage. We invite you to sample a taste of Shenandoah.
  • Wolf Gap Vineyard & Winery - Founded in 2004 by Willard and Diane Elledge, the Wolf Gap Vineyard and Winery is a 50-acre estate with spectacular views from the wine-tasting deck.  Perched on a ridge, the deck offers valley and mountain views including Wolf Gap, the geographical feature from which the vineyard takes its name.

Bring a picnic basket and wander around the farm and vineyard or relax on the deck enjoying a glass (or bottle) of wine and take in the countryside!
  • Veramar - Veramar is a family-owned winery best known for their Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay. Enjoy a classic wine tasting to find your favorite, or swap the conventional dining room and enjoy a picnic on their 100-acre estate with great views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
